Libertarians are wearing "LP" The Liberty Penguin in all 50 states. Libertarian political candidates and affiliates are also using the Liberty Penguin in California, Hawaii, Virginia, Wyoming, Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois.
"LP" was recently adopted as the "official mascot" by state Libertarian parties in Tennessee, North Carolina, Utah, Hawaii, Delaware and Iowa and is fast becoming the national party's de-facto mascot. "LP" has also been featured in numerous newspaper articles around the country, and was even depicted in a Rutgers University cartoon fencing big government.
